  well there are lots of reason for sure, denial, delusion, wishful thinking, ego maniac, infantile understanding of ancient writings, satanophobia, xenophobia, out of touch with reality, limited choices scrapping the bottom of the barrel,and many more.. listen to this ted talk and see if you can pick out something that helps explain why these guys are such ass holes:.

  organizations are often run according to the superchicken model, where the value is placed on star employees who outperform others.

  and yet, this isnt what drives the most high-achieving teams.

  I believe the main reason for their increasing foolishness lies in their narcissistic personality disorder which has essentially resulted in an overly inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for constant admiration from the rank & file and an extreme sense of entitlement. This continuously eroding mental disorder causes the governing body to say and do even more foolish things as time goes by because they strongly believe that they really don't owe any explanations to anyone for any of their actions or statements.

  so...i totally stopped going to meetings two years ago.

  since then, i have gotten married and moved into my husband's home.

  his father and mother also live there.

  JWs pretty much stopped using their Bibles in Field Circus sometime during the mid-90's. Before that, it was almost mandatory to read one or more texts, hand over the 2 rags and then hope the householder doesn't ask any questions that require any deep thought or insight. If they did, it would require a return visit.

  Now, they keep the presentation inside of 20 seconds, hand over the rags and run.

  my spies tell me that they are getting shown videos very regularly at the 2 day convention(tm).. i figured it may be because the wbt$ wants mass indoctrination using their tried and tested propaganda techniques.. the average elder won't be aware that the wbt$ uses these thought reform techniques so will be incapable of using them himself.

  also, the elder might not put the money grabbing, 1984 ministry of truth spin on things and actually say something good instead.

  we know the wbt$ don't like 'good'!

  How are the JW's reacting to the new USA gay marriage laws?

  personally i think this is wonderful.

  i have nothing against gay people and wish them only the best.. but of course i'm in a minority of one, the jw's around me are posting away on fb the most homophobic vitriol imaginable.

  a lot of them are even saying that it's the start to armageddon!!.
